WAIT
FOR
USER
~
text/92/34
Be careful with this selection. If chosen, it puts an

invisible pause in the picture file. Until the user presses any
key on the keyboard, the picture will not complete itself. You
can use WAIT FOR USER to emphasize a point, or to make a two
part picture. For instance, you can picture a closed box, then
select WAIT FOR USER, then select BLOCK DELETE, then replace the
box with an open box.

The tricky part is that you must write something into your
picture to tell the end user to press a key, or they won't know
why the computer 'quit,' or that there is more to the picture.
WAIT FOR USER combines nicely with sound effects.

WAIT FOR USER can also fool you, the author, because
BLACKBOARD will refuse to continue until you press a key on
the keyboard.
